Sorry About The Delay.....

I'm back after a small hiatus. I wasn't able to think of anything worth writing.

Well, over the weekend.. actually just Saturday, Ross, Barry and I made a quick trip to Ft. Collins to look at a auto Ross was interested in. We were set to leave Sturgis at 6:00am. I was there about 5:50. Barry showed at 6:30. On our way...

We took the Sundance, Wyoming route because we thought the road over O'Neil Pass, @ 6785 feet were snowpacked and shitty. Speaking of O'Neil Pass, US Highway 85 crosses it making it the highest highway east of the Rocky Mountains. The tallest peak in the east is in North Carolina at 6685 ft.

The roads were horrible north of Wheatland, WY on Interstate 25. They must not like to do any snow removal in Wyoming. It was like that for 20 miles or so.

We get to Ft. Collins at about 1:00pm and go look at the car. It'a a white BMW. Ross test drives it and found that the car didn't have brakes, clutch and it ran like shit. Disgusted we leave and decide to drive back home. I'm regretting not trying to convince them to stay just to get away but oh well. We got back into Sturgis around 9:30 and decide to go do some beer drinking. There were some comedians at the Roadhouse. The cover was $5.00 and come to find out the comedians were actually radio DJ's from Magic 93.9 KKMK. Fucking local radio personalities trying to play funny. If you have read this blog in the past you know my feeling about local terrestrial radio personalities. They fucking stink. We laughed more on the road trip than we did at the bar. But since I paid 5 bucks oh well. Like I have said before... If it's free, it's probably very chinsey and not worth dick. The $99.00 cars you can buy at a car dealer are not going to be a 2006 Land Rover Discovery. $99.00 cars are as close to getting a free car as you can get.
